ELLES, LES (IN)VISIBLES (2021)
SYNOPSIS
There are an estimated 12,000 undocumented migrants in Geneva, 80% of whom are women working in care economy. They clean our offices and homes, they look after our parents and children. They have left their country for a better life, and find themselves illegal while keeping the global economy going. Yet they are invisible.
Who are they? What is their story? How do they understand integration in Switzerland?
The lack of answers to these questions is not only an indication of their invisibility, but also of the importance of re-humanising the collective imaginary constructed about undocumented migrants. This documentary is a call to open our eyes to the invisible that surrounds us.

CONSTRUIRE DECONSTRUIRE (2021)
This short-film is the final work for a course in Visual Anthropology at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
The theme of the class is DIY - Briccolage.
Looking at this notion form a gender perspective, we see that the practice of DIY, as well as the tools, technical and physical skills it requires, is mostly associated with the male world, in such a way that it becomes a norm participating in the masculine hegemony. This norm participates in the perpetuation and consolidation of structural and systemic gender inequalities. It is from this dominant vision of DIY that we would like to explore the reappropriation of DIY tools and techniques from an emancipation perspective for women. Indeed, the reappropriation of tools essentially intended for men in women-only spaces, free from gender domination, is a means, claimed by feminist struggles, for the empowerment of women.

GRIEVABLE // UNGRIEVABLE (2020, 5'52)
2021 GRADUATE INSTITUTE AWARD
FOR BEST APPLIED RESEARCH PROJECT
SYNOPSIS
This video emerged from a nine-month consultancy for the violence prevention initiative (VIPRE) in Geneva, Switzerland, for their upcoming immersive exhibition designing against violence (2021) looking at the lived realities of violence perpetuators and the redesigning of space/architecture for torture prevention strategies (collaboration with forensic architecture). My team and I conducted research on the non-reflexive drivers of political violence and directed and produced a short video grievable//ungrievable (5’53) which will be shown at the exhibition, expressing the ambiguous process of how subjects slip into the perpetration of torture, focusing on the interaction between bodies, space and emotions through contemporary dance.

2021 WATER DOCS FILM FESTIVAL, TORONTO, CANADA
SYNOPSIS

“The Drop”, a Swiss documentary film, confronts the audience with the topic of water not uniquely as a necessity, but rather as an indicator of social justice, racial inequalities and a trigger for social transformative change. Following a young Swiss student through the USA, Canada, Guatemala and Bolivia, different stories and interviews illustrate how a drop of water can highlight the drop of a global system that fails to consider its people equally.
